welcome to the 'Wild'

welcome to the 'Wild' is the first experience in a three part nature connection journey for Cubs & Brownies.  During this introduction to the 'Wild’ young people will spend some time becoming more familiar with woodland environment in the South Downs National Park.  They will be invited to take part in some exciting and mindful activities and games including Eagle Eye, The Wildlife is Watching and Camera.  

These games and activities harness their child passions to help them to explore common hazards and the nature typically found in and on the edges of woodland habitats.  This experience has been developed to help young people feel at ease in the woods and through greater awareness to build upon their existing relationship with nature.  

The journey does not end here as we will encourage participants to continue to be curious with some missions at home and at their HQ.  Furthermore we would be so grateful if they share their nature stories virtually, with their section or to bring them back to share with us for the next part of their journey in ‘The Wild’ called The World Wild Web.
