Mentoring tools to support ‘re-wilding’ the adults and children in your life

WHERE: Hambledon,Hampshire

WHEN: 9.30am to 5pm

MAXIMUM: 8

You are here in this moment reading this because of ‘someone’ took some time out to focus the attention of your ancestors. These ‘someones’ were mentors, role models who cared and who paid attention to nature. Mentors encouraged your ancestors to look to nature as a teacher and also passed on the survival skills of self sufficiency so they did not get lost, stayed hydrated, got lunch & avoided being lunch!  ‘Someone’ cared enough about you to plant the tree you climbed as a child.

It has now been proven that connecting and interacting with nature is essential ingredient for our well being, even more so in the modern context. Who then is the ‘someone’ in your generation passing on this ancient wisdom to you and our children? I am one of the few ‘someones’ who has set an intention to continue this ancient game of pass the parcel of wisdom and together we can start the next round!

This course has been designed for adults who want to support other people to re-wild.  This is irrespective of whether that adult is an individual, a couple, a parent, guardian, a member of an extended family or if they work work with children in a voluntary roles in Guiding or Scouting or in professional roles such as in teachers, teaching assistants, youth workers or Forest Schools Leaders.

I will share the resources I have developed to date which can be used to incorporate nature connection practices into your family life or learning programmes  & support you creating a re-wilding culture within your family or organisation.
