Each Practice Key is a simple, repeatable way of spending time with nature. Some will call to you straight away; others will make sense later. There is no right order.

Support nature

What can you give back to the places that give you so much?

A large rustic bug hotel filled with logs, canes and cones
A handmade wooden nest box standing on moss

As you get to know a place and its neighbours, you start to notice what helps them thrive, what threatens them and where you might make a difference. Support Nature turns that growing relationship towards giving something back.

Care begins with attention. Understand the place before assuming it needs improving. Sometimes the right thing is to act: a log pile, a nest box, joining a local conservation effort. Sometimes it's changing your own behaviour, or simply leaving well alone. Watch what happens and adapt.
